@slmandel I do think the fair catch free kick rule change was on the coach’s mind (I’d hope) - but should have had QB retreat to back of end-zone to run out as much time as possible before just stepping out of bounds - then with 2-3 seconds left take the safe punt from the 20-yard line.

@slmandel Coulda woulda shoulda but if you’re trying to run the clock out retreat towards the back of the end-zone so no one can get you from behind and even if the ball is stripped (somehow) it goes out the back of the end-zone.

@ColeIsKing_ Also an example of any calls to move to 8 divisions with 4 teams each following any expansion is stupid and will only make this worse - instead move back to 4 divisions with 8 teams which would add more meaning to division titles and at least lessen the chance of this scenario.
