Not everything has to be so serious.

Here's my Openclaw setup:

#1 Discord is the best tool for organizing and communicating with the models:

- Use channels for system prompts & cron outputs
- In channels, use Threads as sessions
- Setup stautsline in Voice groups, since they can update dynamically.

#2 For heartbeats configure a cheap-fast model to prevent ridiculous bills.

- Heartbeats are automated cron workflow define well
- They don't need high intelligence pick a good instruction follower, I use MiniMax-M2.5 / Haiku / GLM
- Don't spam them, every heartbeat is an opportunity to get wrecked (if the model is interacting w outside world)

#3 Don't use it directly to do coding, but use it to update it's configurations and for chat.

- You can use codex as a "coding-agent" which is much more efficient and functional
- You need a way to track all the code and all the configs it and it's subagents are changing (git)
- Give it TTS and STT with elevenlabs and parakeet, typing is wasteful most of the time.

#4 Rag your data

- Install all of your data from x, github, etc.. and build a RAG on top
- Ask questions like "what did i tweet about 3 days ago"? "how much did i spend in January?" etc..
- Keep track of all your side projects, this helps you prioritize

What I do with it:

- Support with shopping: I would usually use something like GPT's agent mode for this, but I can get farther with this.
- Research, Github, content trackers: keep up with the news and interests
- Debug and change app UI while i'm using it from another device.
- Chat, ask questions, customize, play, learn, have FUN.
