We are sad to learn of the passing of Nichelle Nichols, who played Lt. Uhura on #StarTrek. She was an inspiration to many, not just for her groundbreaking work on Star Trek but also through her work with NASA to recruit women and people of color to apply to become astronauts.

Are you looking into cell phones as an instructional tool or whether they are a distraction to instruction? Most empirical research is going to be highly focused & will not address a simple "cell phones good/bad."

@spearsmegan12 & her team put together a beautifully designed asynchronous PD for our @DiscoveryEd curriculum. It had a self-differentiation tool, clear learning goals, and supportive next steps. 🧑‍🍳💋 level; just plain fantastic work! #rcsdchampions
