@l3d1c But don't blame the Portuguese, man. I just wanted the game to finish, looking at the clock, extra time on top of extra time, I was just yelling, this is a rip-off, they are trying everything to make sure Portugal doesn't go further (remember, we are a small country).

@l3d1c Portuguese fan here. VAR, the technology, and the 4 parts all suck and are ruining the game. If I were a referee I wouldn't call that offside because it doesn't make any sense. That is why I think referees will just be decorative figures rather than judges.

@_common_w2 @davinator_t I forgot to add this: if the ref is not 100% (or 200% in this particular case) sure then he shouldn't interfere. I thought PT was being robbed because it was way past the 10 extra minutes. I was mistaken.

@_common_w2 @davinator_t I'm not an expert(although I thought I knew the rules) but it doesn't matter if 1 or 10 people touch the ball.What counts is the moment the ball is passed.Portuguese here,but here's my review of this dramatic game:F VAR. It ruins everything if it becomes a replacement of the ref.

@efrainnava07 @albertolati I don't want to pretend I'm an expert on the rules.I thought I knew them.This VAR and all the tech plus the 4 part "americana" are ruining the game. One cannot celebrate a goal anymore, the referee is becoming irrelevant,and what once was a very human game now is a computer game.

@krismcge @Rainmaker1973 Indeed, I was talking about this yesterday. All those guidelines for protecting yourself under a bed or door frame are only useful for a minor event not when a building collapses or a large crack opens under your feet. In the end most of it is just luck/bad luck.
