Best ramen is Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, which are hidden in these Japanese markets called Mitsuwa Market! OR Daikokuya.
Some of the best PHO is a spot called Nong La!!! Chia loves the chicken pho.
Fresh churros with horchata ice cream at the horchateria in Paramount.
Tam’s is a Long Beach/LA go to for late night cheeseburgers.
Howlin Rays for the besttt hot chicken sandwiches
Tacos y Birria La Única truck for the best birria tacos and they got birria ramen now.
Kogi taco truck for fire korean tacos.
Giyo’s tacos is my fav taco stand in Paramount.
Leo’s tacos is a poppin taco truck.
In Venice, a spot called “the window” American Beauty has some REALLY good cheese burgers
really good Korean BBQ for kbbq newbies, spot in Ktown called Quarters - they actually cut up and cook the meat for you, AND give you the option of a little melted cup of cheese to dip your meat and veggies if you want.
Also, Parks BBQ for bomb kbbq and they got this CRAZY kimchi pork stew.
Super fire but somewhat bougie taco spot near downtown LA called “Guerrilla Tacos,” bougie meaning they have shit like uni/hamachi tostadas and grilled octopus and stuff like that.
For injera, I like a spot called Lalibela. They got this kitfo sandwich 🔥
For Jamaican, I like Little Kingston.
And I know you’re kinda off meat, so Monty’s Good Burger for the best vegan burgers!!!
Baby Blue’s in Venice for some solid bbq!
Petit Trois, French restaurant has this INSANE burger called a Big Mec.
And that’s my not bougie list!
