Make no mistake: destroying world-class universities, like the US just did with Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, isn't just an attack on Iran but it's literally an attack on all of us, on all of humanity.

It's not Iran that "won" when Maryam Mirzakhani made her discoveries that won her a Fields Medal: it's all of mathematics, and everything mathematics is used for. Human progress won, technology won, we all won.

It's the same type of stuff the Mongols did during the sack of Baghdad and their destruction of the House of Wisdom: we ALL lost something irreplaceable back then, entire fields of human knowledge set back.

That's what bombing a university does. It doesn't just destroy buildings. It destroys us, all of us.

Israel dropped bombs on UN peacekeepers in Marjayoun, South Lebanon.

Two Indonesian UNIFIL soldiers were killed.

Their bodies were retrieved today.

Blue helmets. UN uniforms. Peacekeepers. Killed anyway.

I'll never forget how the Israelis bombed al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza in October 2023 and the world was shocked and horrified. Israel denied it, saying they would never commit such a heinous crime.

Then they went on to bomb every single hospital in Gaza.

Now they are doing the same in Lebanon and Iran. The Israelis have bombed at least 128 medical facilities and ambulances across south Lebanon. In Iran, the US and Israel have bombed 25 hospitals and medical centres.

In Lebanon, they are committing double tap strikes to kill medics and rescue workers, just as they did in Gaza. Medics are forced to delay their responses.

These monsters are normalizing war crimes that were once unthinkable.

After much reflection, and after it became clear to me that some UN seniors are serving a powerful lobby and not the UN, I have decided to suspend all my duties as PVA Main Representative at the UN and from all UN committees/groups of which I am a member.

I cannot in good conscience be part of or witness to what is happening at a time when the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use.

It has been an honor cooperating with the UN for nearly 12 years under different Secretaries-General and Human Rights Council Presidents, leading PVA delegation.

You want the ugliest truth?

America’s war on terror was never a war against terror.

It was a war to reserve terror for itself.

To monopolize it. Centralize it. Legitimize it. Brand it.

Then criminalize every retaliatory language that might emerge from the ruins it created.

That is why Washington never really wants terror eliminated.

Terror justifies budgets.

Terror justifies bases.

Terror justifies surveillance.

Terror justifies dependency.

Terror justifies the endless American right to arrive anywhere on Earth and call itself necessary.

The empire does not fear terrorism.

It fears competitors in the business of fear.

And that is why it must always remain the largest supplier.
