Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.

I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.

Apart from the many untruths, outright lies and errors, you forgot to mention that the 8 loans listed were multilateral loans obtained by the Federal Government of Nigeria and on-lent to state governments, including Anambra, for SPECIFIC PROJECTS.

So while speaking on an interview with D English Alhaji, this guy called Hassan explicitly named Senator Shehu Buba Umar, alleging that the Senator accommodates notorious bandit kingpins in his residence, interacts closely with them, and even shares meals with them.

He made several startling allegations against the Senator.

Recall that on September 19, 2024, Governor Bala Mohammed also petitioned authorities over Senator Shehu Buba Umar, alleging that he facilitated and funded the registration of a suspected bandit mastermind, Abubakar Idris, alongside Zainab Aliyu Gado, for the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.

The Governor also alleged that the Senator was linked to the distribution of motorcycles to bandits and the facilitation of medical treatment for wounded terrorist fighters.

You know the funniest part?

At the time, this same Senator was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence.

It took public backlash before the Senate reshuffled the committee and removed him from that position.

Since then, I do not think Nigerians have seen any thorough investigation that publicly addressed those allegations.

Now his name has surfaced again through another set of accusations.

A young man reportedly fled Nigeria after raising allegations linking Senator Shehu Buba to terrorism.

Now comes the explosive claim: the senator allegedly sent his PA after him into Niger Republic — only for Nigerien authorities to arrest the PA.

The whistleblower was reportedly detained too, presented his evidence, and was released.

If these reports are true, forget politics for a moment: what exactly is going on?

A Nigerian senator. Terrorism allegations. A critic fleeing across the border. An alleged attempt to track him down in another country.
