@TheCartelDel I think that’s his point, if you’re so hard up that you’re spending your last $80 On a *videogame* you’re probably better off saving that money. It’s not a value judgement on the person, it’s just reality: gaming is a somewhat expensive hobby.
@Jorraptor Just give us Horizon 3, Sony’s insistence on this live service shovelware is nauseating, especially since there’s already another Horizon multiplayer game being made.
@vicious696 Did the 30 day time mechanic seem like it’ll be frustrating in the context of the full game? It’s hard to understand how content will be gated off as time progresses, and why that’s so essential to the story/context of the game
@Sammy_Xbox@longislandviper Xbox (and PlayStation also) have a much smaller window to “convert” people to their system than they did when Skyrim came out. Starting 10-15 years ago people started really building up their digital libraries on certain consoles, and they’re entrenched in them now. Bad move here
@DeanTTraining@beSi_277 What if on a time budget and doing opposing body parts? Example
Bench press
Rest 90 seconds
Rows
Rest 90 seconds
Bench press
Some rest in between exercises, and then the chest rests about 4 minutes in between sets. Not quite a “superset”, but somewhere in the middle.
@SoaRFrann They need to fix the in-match backfill, and add a penalty for quitting (quit 3 matches in an hour and you’re on hold for 30 mins or something) because every game ends up being like 3 on 4 and it’s annoying.
@CallofDuty When you mentioned BO 1 and 2 I thought you were going to go on to say that you would actually fix the multiplayer? BO2 matchmaking is *broken*. Fresh Games start 3 vs 4, no backfilling so the games are almost always lopsided. The game is great when it works
@hadmyback Agreed, but now that there will be no after-market disc competition, you can wave goodbye to any sort of substantial PSN sales or discounts. If it’s the only option, then say hello to perpetual full-priced games
@TheEggman64 They literally will not survive as a viable gaming entity with Gamepass. For better or worse, it’s not how most people consume games. I think it was a great idea but it just doesn’t suit this medium. They probably need to revert it to Games with Gold or something.
@TheCassiniGames@PlayStation Trailers were captured on PS5. Point of trailer is to impress so they’re going to use the best footage they can. I think if Rockstar themselves is choosing the PS5 footage that’s a pretty safe bet. Also why not optimize for the console that is 3-to-1 the console market leader
