@beeneeks @Olking07 I would think 65% of gross would be an average net after 401k, health, FSA, SS/Medic. disability, life insurance etc. That would mean starting with just shy of $6k per month. Taxes and insurance could easily be $1200 per month. Think we are past 66% of take home for just house.

@BrooksWhaleX You lost me at switching it to Auto. My fan has been running nonstop for 12 years now. It is the only thing that keeps a multi story home an even temp upstairs and downstairs, winter and summer. I feel it also reduces load since it keeps recirculating already cooled air.
