History favors the HODLers of assets- stocks, real estate, gold, bitcoin, etc. Key is to know your gut and limit exposure to what you can stomach in decline...
In my experience you need both. The box blade can help level and fill in low spots. But the harrow is handy to clean things up on the drive (+ other areas on your property where you disturb the soil). I usually use a box blade first and then I'll hit the drive a few times with the delta tooth harrow. If you have livestock the harrow is handy to break up animal waste and let it work for you as fertilizer.
@PauloMacro Cost of U.S. debt surges... Isn't it possible that in an environment where the guarantor behind risk free treasuries has a rapidly deteriorating balance sheet that money would gravitate to the largest quality stocks in order to preserve purchasing power?
@shortseller Certainty? I donβt think anything is certain- especially short term. But longer term? If lower for longer justified higher valuations then higher for longer suggest lower valuations. TIAA vs TINA
@TicTocTick Thanks for what you do Tic. I have a longer term focus but your short term levels are very helpful. Another bubble burst. Another lost decade?
@TaviCosta Looks like EM broadly offered a good long term opportunity following the last 'disrupter bubble' peak. I like the idea of EM markets that are in closer proximity to USA. EWZ, EWW or ILF all look interesting. Another anti-bubble. But my time frame is years, not days.
@CordovaTrades I'm longer term oriented but appreciate these short term calls to help in managing my positions. Thank you. Silver also looks interesting.
@Convertbond Remembering back to that period (2000-2002) it seemed to sink in very slowly that the rolling over in the 'disruptors' had implications for a lot of companies. Not just tech. But the rotation that resulted created opportunities too.
@mallik70@eliant_capital When a long only investor/manager rotates money to staples for stability during a bear market... do they even look at or worry about P/E?
