If a college coach follows you on X.
1. Follow them back
2. Send them a short DM with some metrics and your summer schedule.
3. Ask if there is anything you can provide for them.
Note-if it is a Division 1 coach prior to August 1st before your junior year they cannot engage in recruiting discussions. But they can send you a questionnaire or information about a camp.
~25,000 HS baseball players in FL
69 college programs in FL with ~35 players each, that comes to ~2500 college roster spots in FL (all levels!)
Lots of FL kids have to leave to play in college
Northern kids can play in FL, but they don't need you, so you better be really good
First collegient outing ✅

JUCO/NAIA transfers!!! If you are interested in playing against college competition in the state of Florida and want playing time with no eligibility used, this is the program for you. We are recruiting players for all positions for the 26/27 season, send us a DM if you want to continue your career.
Portal season is coming in HOT. Players, specifically pitchers, DO NOT be afraid of going to a JUCO to play a year possibly 2. If you are at a 4 year and struggled with command in limited innings (I see this a lot) don’t hit the portal and never get out, go JUCO. If JUCO isn’t an option due to degree or years played then go NAIA or D2/3 or one of the many other associations. Just don’t hit that portal and stay in there passing on opportunities waiting on one that won’t come.
HS Baseball Players ⚾️
Some of you need to hear this 👇
Seth Lugo
• Not heavily recruited out of HS
• Went to Centenary College
• 34th round draft pick
• Big Leaguer
Matt Strahm
• No major offers out of HS
• Junior college route
• Built himself into a big leaguer
There's stories like this everywhere.
No matter how GOOD or how BAD your season is going, it doesn't matter either way!
Keep grounded, keep hungry, stay balanced, and NEVER give up on yourself! Amazing things are possible 🙌
Standards over results.
Never let a speedbump become a ROADBLOCK 💯⚾️
@FSBE2021 is still recruiting for the ‘26 class for our fall/spring seasons!!! Our post grad team plays a college simulated season against NAIAs and NCCAAs all across the state while losing no years of eligibility!! We’re looking for all positions so please DM us to sign up!!
A lot of organizations don't offer 18u summer ball for graduating seniors.
Why?
They can't get the kids to be reliable and dependable.
A lot of kids think taking the summer off before trying to earn playing time as a college freshman is the answer, and it's not.
The summer before a kid's freshman year, should be the summer he's most active, in terms of competitive games, the weightroom and conditioning.
Want playing time as a freshman?
You better show up game ready, physically strong, in shape and ready to compete like a maniac.
Another home runs for former FSBE bulldog Mike Dobkowski. He is having a great season at ESCC!! Someone better pick this kid up before it’s too late!!!
In 27 games he has 10 doubles, 5 homeruns and 21 walks.
His brother John Dobkowski is also hitting 395 and has thrown out 13 guys behind the place in 22 games.
If you have a opportunity presented to you, even though it’s not the one you prefer, HIGHLY recommend taking it; as you never know where it might lead you.
Cristopher Sanchez:
- Never a Top 100 Prospect.
- Never a Top 10 Prospect in any organisation.
- His CH was ranked a 45 on the 20-80 scale in 2020.
- He spent six seasons in the complex leagues.
- Went undrafted as a Rule 5 pick.
Another example: Development isn't linear.
Still recruiting for all positions
Need high leverage arms and guys who know how to swing a wood bat
Get yourself on a team before it’s too late.
Housing availability closes on April 1st
DM me if you’re interested. @hangout_bsbl
Looking for players at all positions. Great opportunity to play in beautiful Pensacola. 18-20 man roster. Sports are filling up fast. DM me to reserve a spot on my team @hangout_bsbl
Athletes,
Please DON’T ghost a coach. If you’re not interested in a program, just call and tell them thank you for the interest and say you’re going somewhere else OR looking for other opportunities.
Don’t waste their time or yours!

VERY IMPORTANT: any player on twitter has to make sure the profile is professional and is always current. Remember, it is the 1st thing a coach looks at and you want to stand out from the other players on twitter. Keeping it simple for coaches is the best route to go. Here are my suggestions: your picture should be of you in your uniform (action picture). BIO: grad year, gpa, sat/act, # of AP classes, position(s), height/weight, speed (running or pitching only if it's impressive); High School. If you have room, any Athletic honors. Make sure your name is consistent and easy to find on twitter (X); include in location where you live (City, State); and for website: add your 90-120 second highlight video. Make sure you update your bio with changes. Coach Drew
