BREAKING: YES! A federal court delivers nightmare news to Don Jr. by ruling that states DO have the power to regulate the prediction markets like they do gambling — dealing a massive blow to his investments.

This was well past due...

A panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals composed entirely of Trump appointees ruled 3-0 in favor of Nevada regulators who sought to regulate Kalshi, a "prediction" site that allows users to gamble on future events.

The distinction between "prediction markets" and traditional gambling is a fictitious branding loophole designed to allow these companies to circumvent the law. If you're betting money on future outcomes, that's gambling plain and simple!

With the blessing of the incredibly corrupt Trump administration, companies like Kalshi and Polymarket have pushed to operate under federal oversight rather than state gambling laws. It is, of course, no coincidence that Don Jr. and other prominent MAGA cronies are heavily invested in these kinds of companies.

In fact, it was recently revealed that the President's son urged Republican state attorneys general to steer clear of targeting prediction markets. He knows full well that if states are allowed to regulate them, meaning levy taxes and in some cases outlaw them outright, it will be a devastating blow to the burgeoning industry.

The issue will likely end up in front of the Supreme Court, at which point we'll see if the MAGA-controlled justices do what they sometimes do and hand down a just, Constitutionally-based ruling. If they do, the states will prevail.
