April Fools’ Day is the day people critically evaluate everything they read on the internet before accepting it as the truth. Funny because that should be an every day thing.
I recommend paying less attention to attention-seeking people who are pompous hind ends that delight in making those outside their tribe look and feel stupid or enraged. Don’t waste good energy on bad faith.

The exploitation of Christ for worldly power in this era is unconscionable. Leave his name out of your evil. Non-Christian observers, please do not to look to cultural Christianity for what Jesus is like but to the Gospels, Acts & the NT epistles. Look to the sermon on the mount.
When you come to the Bible, you need to shake your mind free from human political or ideological categories--liberal, socialist, conservative, populist. The Bible does not fit fully in any of them, and you should not be trying to read the Bible through those kinds of glasses.
