@WafcHugh @CaliJ98 Matt Smith feeding into a proper striker is dangerous. He played forward as much as he could. I’ll go back to Taylor’s goal against Rotherham, how easy did he make a forward pass look with good movement. Smith could get 10 assists if he plays a full season with a goalscorer

@dean_hutchings I’d say Adeeko’s better but Payne is 2 years younger. Adeeko’s only drawbacks are his injury record (he played about 5 games for us last year), and he won’t win anything in the air

@ForeverWAFC I don’t think he would be nowhere near the 11, on his day he’s a really tidy player. Fair point that we’ve seen no progression. That’s probably why we’re letting him go if we’re being honest, and if we want a smaller squad we can’t keep on injury-prone players
