Joint leadership endorsement statement with @SteveScaliseGOP, @tomemmer, and @LisaForCongress:
Jerry Carl is a proven conservative leader who will once again help us continue to deliver safe streets, secure borders, a strong economy, and peace through strength. As a former Congressman and business leader, Jerry will also work tirelessly to grow our economy, support our farmers, and defend the principles that have made America the greatest nation on Earth. We are proud to endorse Jerry Carl for Alabama’s 1st District, and look forward to working with him to defend and grow our House Republican majority and CONTINUE our American comeback! 🇺🇸
🇺🇸 What makes you proud to be an American? A simple question, but voters have wildly different answers.
The data reveals a massive cultural divide, and the left has a serious long-term problem on their hands. Read through the data: https://t.co/yGJc0BsGmm @brentbuc@johnrogersal

By a +23 margin, swing voters think Democrats are more focused on hating/opposing Trump than providing a better alternative for the county. Read @JWheelertv's rundown: https://t.co/i0k2WZqM3K
“It’s striking that when you look at age and gender breaks, women under the age of 55 are the only group who think Democrats actually offer a more compelling alternative — every single other group thinks the left is just focused on Trump.” @johnrogersal@realDailyWire https://t.co/8gadybKrOB
@CharlesFLehman While driven by progressive Dems—nearly 40% of whom say they're "not at all" proud to be an American—six-in-ten Democrats total label themselves as progressive over traditional. (72% of Rs are extremely proud to be American, vs. just 16% of all Dems).
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Here is the first picture of @VP@JDVance and @SLOTUS from the new chicken coop at the Naval Observatory.
The Vances are seen holding one of their new chicks in the coop window, built by Carolina Coops and provided at no cost to taxpayers.
🚨 The U.S. Senate just confirmed Phil Williams as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama and Thomas Govan Jr. for the Middle District in a 46-43 vote as @SenKatieBritt presided over the chamber. A big win for Alabama and the rule of law #alpolitics
Cygnal Pollser @johnrogersal: "The Birmingham media market—the largest in the state—will be pivotal in deciding who makes the runoff, with 41% still undecided."

Katherine Robertson leads the Alabama AG Republican primary at 26.9% — but 46.5% of voters are still undecided ahead of May 19.
Mitchell (14.4%) and Casey (11.2%) trail. Cygnal's @johnrogersal says Robertson is "going to be tough to beat" with appeal to both Trump and traditional Republicans.

People forget that Ds were gerrymandering the south into the 2000s redistricting. Most of those just fell apart because that was the decade the rural south finally abandoned Ds in below presidential races for good.
"Democrat voter enthusiasm is... extraordinarily high, and so for people on the right side of the aisle... they really have to work hard to make sure the Republican base turns out in November."
@cygnal's @johnrogersal reacts to Tuesday's elections.
Did Georgia's special election show any implications for the midterms in November?
What about swing voters in California's gubernatorial election? Will they finally go the GOP's way?

New from @TIME on how young MAGA voters are reacting to the Iran war. I talked to Philip Wang about what we're seeing in the data.
In 2024, men 18-49 favored Trump over Harris by 1 point. That's an 11-point swing from Biden in 2020. Those voters were the margin. And right now, only 33% of Republican-leaners under 45 say they're extremely motivated to vote in the midterms. Younger Republican men still support Iran strikes, but at notably lower levels than 55+ Rs.
And the generational divide on Israel is real. @cygnal's April NVT data out today shows young Republican men are about as favorable toward Israel as Saudi Arabia (34-33). 55+ Republicans? 81% fav on Israel.
Cost of living is the one thing that could change midterm turnout among young men. Otherwise, expect the usual drop-off.
