@MGliksmanMDPhD Wasn’t sure which was first, “little boy lost” or Graham Thorne kidnapping. Turns out both were in 1960, when I was 10.
Little boy lost was Steven Walls, a 4 yo boy wandered off on his family sheep farm. I recall listening to radio news reports. He was found 4 days later.

Sarina is essentially a sugar industry town surrounded by canefields. An excellent introduction to extracting sugar products from cane, Sarina is most notable for the attractions which surround it.

Estimates of income from rebates were about half actual, so salesman did not oversell. I had solar only at previous house, so some experience. .

@HarkinsKeith @fiveless @Peter_Fitz There were a few overcast days in February, but I never came near to asking for energy from the grid. Grey shows energy to the grid. Yellow shows direct consumption from solar. Green shows consumption from batteries yesterday. They recharged today.
I use air conditioning daily.

I had several years experience of panels only at my previous house. The savings certainly influenced this decision.

@simonahac @Dr_Keefer I have received $90 credit each month on my power usage since moving into the unit. I still pay connection fees and the hot water system is still connected to off peak, as I get sick of waiting for the phone to be answered when I try to rearrange it.
