@BrianEntin As someone who lives in the area, knows Sonoran desert biology intimately, and has biked by the crime scene a handful of times this week, there is almost not way they are gleaning anything useful with that helter skelter search pattern so long after the abduction.

@BrianEntin The scene has been released to the family and re-secured so many times, winds have been steady, plants are growing rapidly with this warm and wet winter, and people have been moving through the area at-will all week. This desert can make flesh and bones completely disappear. (2/3

@BrianEntin I bike in the arroyos and dirt roads of the foothills multiple times per week. I called in something highly unusual I saw yesterday and the FBI lady didn’t even let me finish my third sentence before saying “thank you” and hanging up. Crazy they are back out there today.
