We did progress in technology and business, we are one of the largest economy, but, we are not yet enough compassionate. Basic education is must for everyone, both rural and urban India should realize we are also one of the most blessed country with rich Wildlife heritage.
"I didn’t pick up a girl from that garbage dump. I picked up a diamond."
This is not a movie story. A real miracle happened in the state of Assam.
Soberan, a 30-year-old man, earned his living by selling vegetables. He was not married yet.
One evening, while returning home after work, he heard the sound of a baby crying from the bushes near the road.
When he went to check, he found a new born baby girl left alone on a garbage pile. The child had been abandoned. Soberan looked around, but no one was there. The baby was innocent, cute, and beautiful. Not knowing what else to do, he took her home with him.
He decided to raise the baby himself instead of getting married. He named her Jyoti.
He worked hard every day and night to take care of her, making sure Jyoti never faced any hardship. He sent her to school and fulfilled all her needs.
Even if he went hungry, he never let her suffer. Jyoti completed a degree in Computer Science in 2013. She then began preparing for competitive exams.
She passed the Public Service Commission exam in 2014 and got a job as an Assistant Commissioner in the Income Tax Department.
Soberan cried with joy when he saw his daughter achieve something he never had the chance to do.
Jyoti now takes care of her father, but even after all her requests, he still continues to run his vegetable business.
Soberan told the media, "I didn’t pick up a girl from that garbage dump. I picked up a diamond. She is the light of my life."
Both of them are truly inspiring people.
Under the leadership of @Dev_Fadnavis, during the next Davos MoU signing, Pune’s footpaths may become the biggest attraction for investors.
Businesses will be invited to set up in Pune, and @PMCPune under @navalMH and newly elected corporator Aishwarya ji can provide land at zero cost by allowing them to occupy public footpaths.
After all, who needs footpaths when we can use them for business? 😉
🐆🚨 Injured & exhausted leopard rescued safely near Indira Nagar, Thane, in a joint operation with the SGNP Rapid Rescue Team. Drone surveillance helped locate the animal in dense vegetation. Now recovering under expert care. ❤️🩹🐾

As the safari #wildlife tourism increases in India, what guides the safari gaze, how is it perceived & whom does it support & why this matters to conservation at large - both for locals in buffer areas & wildlife.

The deaths of 10 tigers in Madhya Pradesh due to Canine distemper virus (CDV), followed by the deaths of 12 lions in Gujarat’s Gir Forest due to CDV in the past few days, is being considered a highly concerning situation for wildlife.
As of now, all these lion deaths have occurred in the eastern and western regions of Gir. Additionally, more than 30 lions have been brought to quarantine centers, and 4-5 new lions are being added daily.
The matter has now reached the Central Government. If the situation becomes more serious, it could turn into a major crisis and even pose an existential threat to the Asiatic Lion.
Gujarat’s reluctance over the past decade to establish new lion colonies in other states is now proving to be a huge mistake.
This situation is reportedly being downplayed by the Gujarat Government and the Forest Department, but it no longer appears to be under their control.
A team of experts from the Centre is heading there to closely monitor the situation and make immediate efforts to find a solution.
The last three months have been devastating for Indian wildlife, presenting a deeply disturbing scenario.
It is extremely important to find a solution in the coming days, otherwise, we are heading towards a massive loss. #caninedistempervirus #girlion #bigcatsafety #bigcatprotection #bigcatofindia
Imagine getting struck in a jam with your family due to random mob celebrating some victory or festival, they climb & jump on top of your car & you cannot do anything as any little spark can cause a life threatening situation.
This is pure dehatism. The fuckin entitlement of these zombies! They know nothing will happen to them & there will be no consequences of this hooliganism.
These videos now reach entire world and no! they do not see videos of Paris & justify your desi nuisance with them. You will get your visas rejected twice thrice or maybe forever. All thanks to a system which has no value of human lives and dignity of life.
@ParveenKaswan@healinghimalaya Is there a way to limit people visiting such delicate, vulnerable, life giving places in India. Look what's happening to Everest, Kailash parvat, all Tiger reserves. If we can't preserve what God gave in the form of nature, we need not crowd such places.
Let's remove locals - there are tigers here.
Tigers have reached carrying capacity. Human-tiger interactions increase. So, corridors are critical now.
Give forest land to mining barons, we'll decide when to call it a corridor & when not to...
Locals & wildlife - ???
Well Indonesia 🇮🇩.
Indonesia has banned cruel Elephant rides - protecting Elephants from violence and abuse.
Tourists ~ #DontBuyATicket 🎟️ ~ if you do are COMPLICIT in their abuse!
there no proper shelter for stray animals but idiots think dogs should magically put in shelters .,, you can keep bragging about hinduism on social media but actions are more like commie
This morning at 1015 hrs @mybmcWardHW@mybmc was selectively pulling down banners on Manuel Gonsalves Rd. Those marked 2 June were left. What permission is this? @MumbaiPolice this is proof of nexus with private/ political parties that defaced city. What time to come to file FIR?
🚨🚨🚨MAHARASHTRA GOVT CLEARS MINING PROJECT IN TADOBA TIGER CORRIDOR
• The Maharashtra government has cleared Lloyds Metals’ controversial iron ore mining and processing project in Gadchiroli
• The project involves diversion of 9.4 sq km of forest land in Gadchiroli for mining and processing activities.
• Maps submitted by the company itself place the project within the Tadoba-Indravati tiger corridor.
• Multiple forest compartments earmarked for the project are identified as part of the corridor in NTCA-approved Tiger Conservation Plans.
• Despite this, the project was granted forest clearance on April 15, environment clearance on May 12, and was exempted from wildlife clearance on May 13.
The deep seated contempt for nature that the CM of MH harbours knows no bounds! 🙌🏻
DID THE AUTHORITIES IN @lakhimpurpolice@DMKheri JUST GET EXPOSED FOR TRAMPLING OVER THE LAW? AND DID THE MEDIA GET EXPOSED FOR SPREADING FAKE NEWS?
A community dog named Simba lived peacefully in Kashinagar, Lakhimpur. CCTV footage reportedly shows a calm dog being repeatedly provoked by people. Despite this, residents say there has not been a single documented dog-bite case in his street.
Yet a FAKE complaint was made against him.
Based on that complaint, @lakhimpurpolice and @DMKheri brutally beat and took away Simba. Were any legal procedures followed? Were any protocols followed? Why was a community dog removed in this manner?
What is even more shocking is what happened next!!
After the issue gained public attention, reports began circulating claiming that Simba had bitten 50 to 100 people.
Where is the evidence?
Where are the records?
Where are the victims?
Residents say there are zero documented bite cases from Simba's street.
If these claims are false, then the public deserves answers.
We strongly condemn any authority that acted outside the law and any media outlet that amplified unverified claims instead of reporting facts.
@News18UP@bstvlive Shame on those who choose sensationalism over truth.
@lakhimpurpolice@DMKheri : We demand accountability from every official involved in Simba's removal.
Most importantly, we demand that Simba be brought back.
