@MrBusinge I think we underestimate the legal exposure and who will ultimately pay the legal costs, the citizens. Foreign courts will likely adjudicate this.
Most Ugandan's don't pay taxes directly, as such even if government officials mismanage resources openly, such citizens don't think it's there money, besides, stolen money ends up buying off the same people with crumbs. Taxes will only push people to the edge if they are high enough to make all alternatives unaffordable.
Nah! The only thing that will unite Ugandans is closing all happening places, cleaning up the streets of unregistered businesses/hustles, touching their ability to put food on the table and go merry, everything else, most people find remote, just news that will pass like the wind.
