@insanemapboy I don't always wear a mask, but when I do, I've not had any reaction, let alone a negative one. White female privilege? Or maybe the vocal RWNJ concentration is more dilute in the Australian population.
@AngryBlackLady@ElieNYC I couldn't find anyone to go with me to see this when it came out so went on my own. And then proceeded to go about another six times. So good. The soundtrack is astounding.
@evilzenmuppet @AngryBlackLady Watching Olivier, then Branagh, then Hiddleston would be interesting to see the progression of how Shakespeare can be done. Also interesting as to which bits they leave in/out. You'd be a bit wrung out by the end though, I imagine.
@swlisaland @73SNAngel @mk_indy@virginiafoxx You need to find something else to criticise (I don't think that will be a problem, she sounds like a truly appalling woman) because she has the same level of education as Jill Biden, and we don't have a problem calling her Doctor.
@Samwitch11 I hope you are now asleep and letting your subconscious work out how to put a saddle on a dragonfly. Because you know that is the best way to let this happen. Sweet dreams.
@twoseabees@fesshole This was a nice little earner for me until covid. First he spent a year working from home, and then every where went cash free. No more coins or the occasional $20.
@tintinaus It took us longer to walk from where we parked the car than it did to vote. And that included me giving a serve to the No worker trying to hand me a How to Vote card for a Yes/No question. Idiots. Mind you, the Yes people had them too. Such a waste of money and resources.
@SpencerHowson People who build models view the world in an entirely different way. Others see a plastic lid to a cake box, they see shop windows. Many, many shop windows. π
@sometimesmovies I had to stop doing these SALs as there are only so many Halloween cushions one house can handle. I really like the integrated design though...so tempting. π
I usually say thank you when my Alexa unit does the thing I've asked her to do. It's automatic (my mother would be so proud). But I've also noticed that she nearly always works for me, but not always as often for my husband, who doesn't say thank you. Coincidence, surely? π
