@TeachwithLaFoy I stand on your side because judgment could be brutal sometimes and hurt students' feeling. I do believe can succeed in their own way! #EEC301SP19
This is what we need to perceive from students' sides about what success means to them and not we as educators think what success should be. Helping students to find their own talents could create more success in the future. #EEC301SP19
If we want to talk about "student success", students have to lead the conversation and have the ability to define what success means to them. This is not only beneficial for our work today but for how students create their own opportunities in the future. #InnovatorsMindset
@MsSheltonTeach I totally agree with your saying and hope students and parents can realize that grades do not define who you are and it is just progress.
This is such a powerful and strong speech that I have touched by her. Wish every child has this kind of teacher to influence her/him in a long way no matter what the students did. #EEC301SP19
This toy can inspire children's curiosity and change the concept of what they think about science and math. I would like to use this toy in my classroom in the future. This toy is great, helping children to engage and inspire them to do something really fun. #EEC301SP19
#KIBOrobot is in @forbes' "Inspire An Interest In STEM Careers With These Top Tech Toys"! It reads "a handful emerged as standouts in the EdTech Market for their ability to teach STEM principles in a developmentally-appropriate way with phenomenal design." https://t.co/otAmCCu5J8
It makes me think of the 5E and DEP lesson plan that we designed last week. Designing a lesson is not that easy because it takes time and efforts to think from different aspects of children and the learning outcomes. This is a great picture to think of the Math. #EEC301SP19
@chasten_webb@PrinceEa Testing can be changed in different forms to know where our students' levels are. The other way to help them excel is by giving them brain break so children can refresh and rethink of what they learn and apply it into their daily life. #EEC301S19
@Morgsandminis @PrinceEa I like your picture a lot. This makes me think of what Finland does in their education, their kids reached the highest scores in PISA and the purpose of going to school should be a happy thing and inspire children to think and learn on what they like. #EEC301S19
@devinmmoseley@PrinceEa I think he is truly influencer to every one of us whether in the education field or other working fields. He gives us so much insightful thought to reflect on how children should learn and break out the rules. #EEC301S19
@amarmar1313@PrinceEa The revolutionized form of education is changing our generation of thinking about what is the core value of the education. I've watched the same type of video before, it really gives me an insight into what if the school can be a fun place to go and be happy! #EEC301S19
School should be a place where students love to go and not hate to go. Tests are required if needed but I personally think there are other ways for helping students to know the core content of the course such as by using the interactive testing etc. #EEC301S19@PrinceEa
The issues I have been thinking and questioning about a few years ago came to reality. What is the school for? I think the school is for individuals to open students' doors for them to walk on the road they want and not limited by the tests and scores. #EEC301S19@PrincEa
It is easy to fall out because of the school's policies and what the society wants. Our parents want us to have a job that can make good money and live a good life by going to a certain career such as doctors, lawyers. How about musicians and artists? #EEC301S19@PrinceEa
@devinmmoseley That's true that if we cannot build up a good and close relationship with students' parents, we won't be able to let them feel comfortable from us teaching their children. Trust is always based on the well-communicated relationship. #EEC301S19
@BrittanyFair4 I love your idea and I think this is really a great way to communicate with the parents and as teachers, we also need to let them know what time we will be available for answering questions. #EEC301S19
@MsVTeacherVoice I never thought of using Twitter to ask other educators but as for now, I will want to not just reading through what other people's wrote but also engage in it. For this class, it's really a great way to reach out to peers and build the connection with each other. #EEC301S19
