Can confirm, per source, that the Angels/owner Arte Moreno decided not to match the Dodgers’ 10-year/700-million contract offer for Shohei Ohtani.
His agent, Nez Balelo, said the Angels had “every opportunity” in negotiations.

@DaleJr The orange Amp energy car is one of yours that I LOVED. (Maybe cause I saw it at Auto Club when you ran it)
For some reason, I loved Carl’s subway car a bunch too
Hard truth…
I can speak freely because I’m 65 years old and my pocketful of fucks is seriously depleted.
Working as a paralegal at various studios in LA for thirty years…I had the opportunity to observe studio executives closely.
They’re generally a slippery and clueless bunch who shouldn’t be allowed near anything remotely creative…but the new regime at Paramount is straight up evil.
I assure you.
These soulless bastards have nothing but contempt for a show about grace and redemption and the struggle against fascism.
ATLA is a mystery to them.
They. Do. Not. Value. The. Franchise.
We need to discuss how careless Nickelodeon/Paramount have been with the Avatar franchise.
First up, they completely mismanaged ‘The Legend of Korra’. At first they had the creators believe it would be a mini-series, but once the show became popular, they renewed it for 3 more seasons.
After that they changed the time it was airing, causing ratings to drop. After that happened a chunk of Book 3 & the entirety of Book 4 were released on Nickelodeon’s website — completely taking it off the air.
In 2026 they allowed the ‘Legend of Aang’ movie, that had been in the works for years, be leaked. It was meant to be a theatrical release, later switched to be released on streaming. They didn’t acknowledge the leak much either.
Now if ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ gets leaked as well…
This is a beloved franchise that deserves way better!
Axelrod: There are a lot of people who would like you to run for president in 2028. And there are others who would like you to run for the senate.
AOC: In this op-ed that Bezos paid for in The Washington Post, there was a veiled threat—it was the elite saying if you want this job, you just stepped out of line. What’s funny about that is they assume my ambition is positional. They assume my ambition is a title or a seat. My ambition is way bigger than that. My ambition is to change this country. Presidents come and go, elected officials come and go, single payer healthcare is forever.
Hey @NASCARONFOX I don’t need the driver’s manufacturer or speed on the score bug… the interval is the only number we need… (especially when you’re trying to see who’s contending after wrecks)
As people celebrate 4/20, let’s be honest about the contradiction:
In many states, marijuana is legal.
In too many lives, the consequences are still permanent.
People are still carrying records.
Still locked out of jobs, housing, and opportunity - for doing what is now sold legally in storefronts.
That’s not justice. That’s hypocrisy.
State laws have changed, federal law hasn’t.
And thus:
Small businesses are squeezed. Research is restricted.
A growing industry is taxed and regulated in some places - generating real revenue - while the communities most harmed by prohibition are still waiting to be restored.
We should be building a fair, well-regulated national framework that de-schedules, taxes responsibly, expands research, and reinvests in the very communities that paid the highest price.
Progress has been made - because people fought for it.
But we are not done.
4/20 shouldn’t just be a celebration.
It should be a call to action.
Expunge records.
End the disparities.
Empower small businesses
Pass comprehensive federal reform.
