This entire patch is a case study for why AI can't translate creative works. It completely altered this foundational Zhuangzi quote because it had no idea about the context of what it was translating. "Transformation" is a foundational philosophy in Daoism echoed in the game!!!

@osu_MeovvCAT Chie should be petite just like in the original PS2 game! Japan has an obesity rate of less than 1% so hopefully Chie in P4 Revival looks similar to over 99% of Japanese people. plus obesity is unhealthy and shouldn’t be encouraged

@dig1taltoaster Atlus just want to erase P4/P4G from history, make P4R politically correct, have the option to edit P4R whenever they want, and give their current staff full credit for “creating Persona 4” even though P4R is a giant downgrade from the original game in every way possible

@prollytabv @zcichy fat PS2 has the PS1 CPU hardware inside the fat PS2. however fat PS2 does NOT have the PS1 GPU hardware, and fat PS2 uses GPU emulation to play PS1 games. this is why PS1 games look much better on PS1 console than on PS2

slim PS2 doesn’t have the PS1 CPU OR the PS1 GPU

@Jman88933 I rank Terranigma as the #3 best SNES game ever made, behind Chrono Trigger and Earthbound with the MSU1 patch

for best experience, play Terranigma on SNES console hooked up to a CRT. playing it on a CRT with zero input lag makes the game way more fun

@bugcatcherhay PSA: the fan-translated PS1 version of Innocent Sin is a vastly better game than the PSP remake of Innocent Sin. the PS1 version has better graphics, vastly better audio quality, a vastly better translation, and a vastly better combat system

I’m not sure what your setup is for playing PS2 games but I highly recommend getting a fat PS2 and a CRT with component input. it’ll change your life
