Yeah, the problem isn't actually the context limits - they're already massive.
The real problem is when you have to correct the llm - that's when you start to get context rot, the model going in circles, etc… and everything just turns into a mess.
Our agent literally won't let you start implementing until it knows exactly what you mean. It's a big shift compared to other agents - but what ends up happening is the coding agent basically one shots what you want.
And since you had to clarify everything with it - you understand all of the code it wrote - so if anything breaks, or there's bugs, you can just go to one of the IDE agents like Cursor and do a small patch.
(we also save a ton of artifacts/memories to files which frees up the context a bit, and fan things out to multiple agents)

Coding agents are too autonomous. They're fine for hacking together a toy project - but they fall apart when it comes to real production code.
They're like a junior engineer going radio silent for 2 weeks - which never ends well.
