@DannyKodicek @looksunfamiliar Yes, definitely the flavour there! What a shame so much is unrecoverable. I remember such a sense of bafflement and wonder with it. I was part of a group trying to solve it on some talk board or other and nobody had a clue what was going on. It was so deliciously weird.
#Wonka was so wonderful! But what a pity that this lovely scene from the @simonfarnaby / Paul King screenplay, where Willy discovers the magic of literature and libraries was cut from the final version. #TeamEnglish@Team_English1@LitdriveUK
@super_claude@natmetcalfe Wemmick's commute from Little Britain to Walworth takes a little over an hour... "I have had my legs under the desk all day, and shall be glad to stretch them."
@mrsmacteach33 Thank you for this wonderful thread and blog. I taught Thirteen last week for the first time, and I and the class found the poem really troubling and deeply sad. The final section of the poem is truly devastating.
I made a spreadsheet of 400+ quirky, motivational and interesting qs for a 'quote of the day' on our display screens! Hope someone else can make use of it - and let me know if you have any favourites I've missed! Here: https://t.co/QohxsLaEyz @Team_English1@ukedchat#TeamEnglish
