New Language Paper 1 QP and Insert for 'Brothers of the Wind' by Tad Williams. Created by myself to introduce my Y11s to new genres (they aren't currently big readers!). @Team_English1 https://t.co/p1DfuuHiq0
A 'AQA Worlds & Lives' Revision Quiz that I designed to support my Y11s and Y10s studying this anthology for their GCSE exams. Hope it helps. https://t.co/9Po57DWgSk
*Macbeth* - Sentence stems to help students upgrade their sentences and writing skills. Divided them into characters and themes. Will be useful prompts to help students struggling at higher also. Inspired by @sarfern webinar last year💫 #LCEnglish
@CalebFemi_ My Y11 class just studied your poem 'Thirteen' for the first time today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Several students said it was the best poem they'd studied for its ideas/messages and it sparked some amazing conversations. Thank you for your words!
Hi all,
Just some feedback from our first Learning Walks. Most groups are not writing the date, title, learning objectives, lesson aims, personal targets for that specific lesson, their current mood, favourite colour and the weather. Ofsted expect to see this. Probably.
Thanks x
Desperate for some AQA Worlds and Lives revision resources for my Y11s doing the anthology this year. I've made a some already but has anyone from @Team_English1 made anything to support Y11 revision!
If there’s one plea I could make ahead of GCSE results day tomorrow, it’s in the way the media and other commentators talk about GCSE grades.
Grades 1-3 are not fails. Us or Xs are. Anyone with a 1-3 HAS GOT A GCSE. And for some of those kiddos, a 1 or a 2 or 3 can be a phenomenal result that they deserve to be proud of. Let’s be a bit more responsible in our language.
Created this '10x10 Revision Grid' for the Worlds and Lives Anthology for AQA as my own students enjoy using these types of grids for quickfire revision and were at a loss with the new anthology. Hope this helps #TeamEnglish https://t.co/fPowT231SN
