Hard to even process -- a president selling market-moving information to banks and wealthy investors in advance of everyone else, and personally pocketing hundreds of millions of dollars from it. This alone is more worthy of impeachment than 100 Watergate cover-ups.
Truly, no idea is too obviously stupid for this administration. Why not let veterans skip medical school while we’re at it, and head right into your loved one’s OR?
@HQNewsNow Once again. I am trying to say this in the most diplomatic way possible that doesn't actively hide the truth: It is impossible to overstate how stupid you have to be to have ever believed that Trump was qualified to be President.
Do not laugh about this speech. It’s impossible to follow but he’s directly challenging our right to vote. The president of the United States is lying in order to wage war on our democracy and against the states. I don’t care your politics; everybody should be outraged.
Think about how easy it would have been for a president to not screw this term up. Take office in '25, extend the tax cuts, then get out of the way. Done.
Instead, we have a president who, at every turn, has dramatically exacerbated every problem he was elected to solve. Higher inflation (tariffs, fiscal recklessness, Iran debacle), higher rates (interference w/ the Fed), endless wars, plus some of the most disgusting corruption the office has ever seen (swamp?)
Judged against a passive benchmark, this is without question the worst performance of any president in U.S. history.
The allegations against Platner were disqualifying. He had to drop out.
The difference between Platner and Trump is Platner was credibly accused by a victim — Trump was credibly accused by a victim AND found liable by a jury.
They're trying to give a guy 10 years in prison for ripping a piece of already-peeling sealant, after pardoning people who beat cops and stormed the Capitol in an attempt to overturn a democratic election. What a screwed-up administration.
Watching a President of the United States fly a plane personally gifted to him by a foreign government isn’t just corrupt, it makes us look weak to the world.
2/ Trump's an all-time evil genius, in his way. He exploited a legitimate sentiment held by many Americans, which is that the richest inhabit a corrupt world, hidden from view, in which different rules apply, and won office despite being the very embodiment of that problem.
Really helpless feeling about where we're at. There's a historic (by American standards) level of corruption and looting going on right now and the party that could stop it is fine with it. And since it is cult of personality his supporters cheer it!

Perfect encapsulation of how government is broken.
Lawmaker votes against something simply because the other side was enthusiastic about it. Did he even read it? Instead of being “spooked,” why not read it and decide the merits for yourself?
Nope. Instead you govern off vibes.
