Not stupid questions, but to answer them

1) yes, but this a problem with stripe seemingly; seems some kind of marker is on my account and any additional funds added decline/bounce without ever making it to the bank itself; my own cards work, but my personal finances are insanely constrained

2) nope, it would be seen as active income as well and would hurt me in terms of tax & also the fact my line of work is inherently outgoings=incoming right now - if it were to become a lifeline because of thresholds for support here, it would then mean it essentially replaces what the government does now - very little of it would make it past my rent and bills; something I only avoid now because my X income doesn't count as 'gainful self employment' so I don't get bonked with the British governments 'you tried to do something good' stick. Current income doesn't even hit self-assessment thresholds for tax (<1000 a year)

I am registered etc as self-employed & handle all my stuff professionally, as I should, but like a terrifying percentage of people I'm reliant on the welfare system for the insane costs that make this kinda income meaningless.

Open to employment & income, but gigs/side hustles in this stupid ass country tend to be self-damaging - I think I have about a hundred or so left before I have to register and pay tax on it but can't make a judgement until I find out what the new creator thing even pays out.
