Palestine was never a country but was thriving due to the British mandate and Jewish entrepreneurship, hence why tens of thousands of Arabs migrated there from neighbouring countries pre 1948 and Israel continues to thrive.

It does however to Ukraine, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen and Pakistan, does that bother you?
It also sends aid to UNRWA,so does Ireland to fund foreigners in the ME, does that bother you also?
