@arjunrajlab@ChristopherBohm It’s hard to publish a paper on something that changes at the RNA level but doesn’t change at the protein level. I’ve personally come across multiple instances where this happens, and I’m sure others have as well.
@ChristopherBohm@arjunrajlab Not sure which studies you are referring to, but cells dedicate a large amount of energy on translational regulation https://t.co/IPPohpmYPi. Large-scale studies I’ve seen do not find a strong correlation (could be context). Translation is 100% a major hurdle for gene expression.
