Earlier today I tweeted about potentially picking up some tickets for Aston Villa at home on Sunday, for a friend and I to go to. Unfortunately I've been scammed. Please read and RT.

An account called @TenHag_mutd DM’d me saying he had tickets for sale. Showed me email proof of the tickets, and then asked for payment of face value which was £45 per ticket. His account has been on twitter since 2012, and was followed by other United fans and has interacted with them, therefore I thought he was a genuine guy.

Naively, I agreed to bank transfer rather than PayPal. This was to an account by the name of Francis Kofi Thomas - and it was Revolut.

So I doubt I’ll get my money back, but I don’t want anyone else to lose money to this guy.

If everyone could please RT for more awareness, and if anyone is mates with this Francis Thomas and they’re actually a United fan, then tell them what a shit fan they are, scamming others out of their money.
