@DrHuw@NicholasChrimes@Anaes_Journal@DrNatBroughton@Cartouchelechat You are avoiding the point by questioning evidence of robots. If there was a 3 hr intervention you could do that was SE free and rendered your patient completely pain free, you wouldn’t be doing that for every GA dental extraction because of the effect it would have on others
@NicholasChrimes@Anaes_Journal@DrNatBroughton@DrHuw@Cartouchelechat Devils advocate: in a resource stretched system would you avoid offering your pt a robotic operation if it meant you could offer 2 patients an operation instead of 1, knowing pts were suffering whilst awaiting their surgery?
I genuinely don’t know where the responsibility ends
@AnneliseGarland@gryindub@anaesthetic_spr Still no evidence presented….
I’ve not seen anyone in ICU with a covid vaccine related pathology (true, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any) but I’ve definitely seen many unvaccinated severe covid cases and can’t remember the last time I saw an vaccinated one.
@ESRA_Society given places for the part 2a DRA were filled within 25 hrs of applications opening, is there going to be a second sitting of the exam this year?
@startle65@Anaes_Journal@WileyHealth@Assoc_Anaes@BIHSociety Any reason the community docs have to get a lower ambulatory BP (<155) than if we see them in clinic land get an ambulatory (<175)?
Is an ambulatory BP not the same whether it’s ordered by the GP or preoperatively?
@drkeithsiau Wow! Their phlebotomists get paid well! I think a lot of women would say the epidural was a bargain.
I wonder if the prices get inflated because you have got good insurance? Is that a thing that happens in the US?
@Virgo_feminist@fesshole I think as a child to make an association between messing with buttons (of which they presumably don’t recall what they pressed) and then their uncle dying is not unreasonable.
They have only been informed of the locks and codes since posting
@Mark70638784651@RupraRoshan@HalfpennyTalks@wesstreeting FT hours for resident doctors is 48h/wk, so yes some wks it may be 70, others may be 20. Still, 48 hrs is the equiv. of working an extra day per week compared with the average full time job
With regards to sitting, you’re saying a GP sat in a clinic all day is a waste of time?
