@RTaub_ @StanFischler yes for sure Rob they’re still a playoff team. But they’re not a contender and thats the frustration. Also the isles have to still ship out a player to be under the cap. Moving out a guy like JGP is going to hurt, unless it returns a top-6 player in a package trade.

@Finks_thoughts You nailed this Mike. Great takes all around. Without Sorokin this was a lottery team. And while the Horvat trade obviously helped a lot, what really made the difference was the change in strategy going back to Trotz hockey. But goals, speed and PP are still a big problem.
