Literal dog person. Mostly on here lurking for hot takes on elections, DC metro news, policy. @HRC @EnrollAmerica @amprog @tomperriello graduate. Views = mine.
I’ve sent requesting help. Your platform detected fraudulent rides which was the case and for which I appreciate. Now my account it erased, no record exists, and the new login doesn’t allow me to call cars. I need help rebooting my account.
@Uber_Support I have never in my life had a worse experience with *attempting* to reach customer service. You have no available phone number or email or contact form to use. Instead, you have an in app AI message feature that has failed to respond to any of the messages
We have come a long way since 2006--but 15 years later--LGBTQ Virginians are once again walking into voting booths with their future and families called to question with the choice they confront in their next Governor. @TerryMcAuliffe will be a governor for ALL Virginians.
It's a uniquely painful experience to cast your very first vote in an election on a question that decides your basic dignity. 4 years before I had the courage to come out, there was an amendment on the ballot that would ban marriage equality in Virginia. https://t.co/4Z8icsK5Uy
@MayorBMScott how do working Baltimoreans go without their car when impounded? No one answering @BmoreCityDOT when my fathers car was towed. Took day off work, got a ride an hour each way, told Pulaski impound closed at 3. website & phone line say 5pm. My family needs car to live
@BaltoShark@BmoreCityDOT My recently deceased father’s car was impounded at Pulaski facility. Arrived at 3pm for security to say it’s closed. The website & phone line says it’s open until 5pm. No one is answering calls. Please help. How can working people go without their cars?
@Lowes I’ve had the single worst customer experience with y’all for a big home renovation order. Your store in Glen Burnie, MD refuses to pick up the phone on my delivery order after they sent damaged products. I need a refund!
We’re all familiar with the urban-rural political divide.
But when we zoom in much, much closer, it appears within metros, within cities, even within neighborhoods, Democrats and Republicans live apart from each other to a degree that’s not random:

“This is what happens...” says the president, perpetuating his lie about the election results to excuse violent seditious behavior. Both chambers should censure and/or remove their own members who would resume to their efforts to perpetuate the lie that begets this treason.
"What is the downside for humoring him for this little bit of time? No one seriously thinks the results will change." -anonymous senior GOP official to The Washington Post, November 10
Sen. Ted Cruz (R) doesn't appear to be objecting to the certification of results in his home state of TX, which swung against Trump '16-'20 by more than MI/PA/WI did and almost as much as AZ and GA did.
Sen. Ted Cruz is hinging his entire argument on "recent polling" that Americans (mostly republicans) believe the election is rigged, which is entirely because people like him are spreading and supporting baseless conspiracy theories.
