@EnvAgencyYNE@YorkshireWater@EmmaforWycombe as relevant Sec of State, would be interested in your view (appreciate is YW decision rather than Gov) as to why hosepipe ban is still in place across Yorkshire despite now having flood measures in place β¦ seems an odd set of circumstances!? π€·π»ββοΈ
@EnvAgencyYNE Iβm not sure how yourselves & @YorkshireWater can state this whilst still persevering with the laughable hosepipe ban - I assume you can see how non-sensical this appears to the general public!?
@AndrewHirst20@YorkshireWater Itβs been silly for a while - they are absolute clowns π€‘
Reservoir levels are back above PY average, they canβt hide behind blaming the EA anymore (within their powers to lift the TUB), letβs see what nonsense excuse they come up with tomorrow π€¦π»ββοΈ
@YorkshireWater@YTimesMotoring An interesting change of standard response from you - good to see youβre no longer blaming the EA β¦ you have full discretion to lift the TUB, persevering with is ridiculous π€‘
@YorkshireWater@EnvAgency Whilst the EA may have issued separate Drought Orders which impact you operationally (eg what you can take from rivers), these are separate to the Temp Use Ban and there is no requirement for you to wait for the EA to lift the Drought Orders before you let me wash my car!!
@YorkshireWater This is just getting silly!? π€£
My understanding is that under section 76 of the Water Industry Act 1991 (amended by the Flood & Water Management Act 2010) you are able to lift a Temp Use Ban without requiring prior approval from the @EnvAgency or the Sec of State
@LNER@DavidHorne any news on the supplier issues impacting DINE menu availability? I deliberately target the 17:33 LKX -> Harrogate each week but canβt remember DINE being available at all this year? (Lamb Rogan Josh still a good 2nd choice!)

@LNER Ok - will email, I obv canβt get a claim no as the system doesnβt recognise the service was diverted and hence delayed. It would be much easier to do via the website if someone could get it fixed rather than back/forth over multiple emails (all with a 10 day turnaround time)
@LNER Hello - any chance you can update the delay repay website so that I can claim for the 17:03 from LKX -> LDS on Thursday (5th) which was diverted to York?
The website thinks the service was cancelled (it wasnβt!) and so not able to claim for this.
Thanks - Jon
@BenDC_@DavidHorne@LNER β¦ or if could order food at a later point in journey rather than immediately after boarding β¦ I might not want a full English at 6:30am leaving York but almost certainly would at 8:30am arriving into Edinburgh
@DavidHorne@LNER Had the sausage & mash on trip back from LKX -> Leeds this evening and was superb - looking forward to giving the Lamb Rogan Josh a try next week π
@LNER left Leeds on the 16:45 -> KingsX, severely delayed and understand service now terminating at Peterborough. Are you making any plans for onward journey to London, ie alternative train, replacement bus service etc?
