We’re proud to announce the promotion of Ray Allensworth to Vice President of Spacecraft. As Spacecraft Program Director, Ray led Blue Ghost Mission 1—the first successful commercial lunar landing—and helped secure five @NASA task orders and four CLPS missions. Now, she’ll lead the next phase of growth, strengthening our Blue Ghost and Elytra spacecraft production lines as we scale to support our customer's national security and space exploration missions while preparing for NASA’s lunar Moon Base initiatives. Congratulations, Ray—well deserved.
Spent the first couple months of the year prepping for this test. So excited to have finally checked this off - huge kudos to the whole test team that supported the effort! 🚀
Separation test complete for Blue Ghost Mission 2! This test demonstrated the mechanisms on Elytra that release our Dual Payload Attach Fitting and enable the deployment of @esa’s Lunar Pathfinder satellite into lunar orbit following separation of Blue Ghost. Our Blue Ghost Mission 2 milestones are stacking up... 22 feet to be exact! The team completed structure qualification testing at @NASAJPL on our fully stacked Blue Ghost lander and Elytra Dark orbiter model. After a series of vibration and acoustic tests, this milestone helps prove our spacecraft are equipped to withstand the intense environments they’ll experience during launch and in transit to the Moon. Congrats to the team and thanks JPL for the hospitality at y'alls historic test facility. More on the mission here: https://t.co/sslH27QC3B
Following our historic lunar mission, our Blue Ghost lander made @TIME's Best Inventions of 2025 list! Congrats to our entire mission team and our @NASA customers that made it all possible! #TIMEBestInventions https://t.co/mkDmLBXAK6
Testing for Blue Ghost Mission 2 continues! We've got the qualification model of our Elytra Dark vehicle and the dual payload attach fitting on our structural test stand at our Rocket Ranch to prove out the static loads they will experience from launch to lunar orbit. https://t.co/sslH27QC3B
Look who just landed on the #TIME100NEXT list! We're so proud of Ray Allensworth, our Spacecraft Program Director, who helped lead our team of Ghost Riders to the first successful commercial Moon landing. This honor reflects not only her stellar leadership but the groundbreaking innovation from our entire Blue Ghost Mission 1 team. https://t.co/FfDDAuPCQs
We’re over the Moon to share another #BlueGhost win. Firefly was awarded another @NASA CLPS contract for a 4th mission to the Moon! We’re taking our landing experience to the South Pole with 2 rovers and 3 instruments to evaluate the Moon’s resources. https://t.co/SziPc8WSVz
Sunsets hit differently on the Moon! More images below of the horizon glow that comes to life just above the Moon’s surface as the sun goes down. This milestone embodies all the achievements from this historic Firefly mission. Thank you #BlueGhost for the final goodbye. Until next time! #BGM1
#BlueGhost got her first diamond ring! Captured at our landing site in the Moon’s Mare Crisium around 3:30 am CDT, the photo shows the sun about to emerge from totality behind Earth. Hope to have more shots to share soon! #BGM1

Coming in for a landing 🚀🌕
During last week's Moon landing, our SCALPSS cameras captured first-of-its-kind video of the lunar lander’s engine plumes interacting with the Moon’s surface.

Watch Firefly land on the Moon! After identifying surface hazards and selecting a safe landing site, #BlueGhost landed directly over the target in Mare Crisium. A historic moment on March 2 we'll never forget. We have Moon dust on our boots! #BGM1
POV you're a Moon lander
This is the first image from @fireflyspace's Blue Ghost Mission 1, which touched down today, delivering 10 NASA instruments to the lunar surface. https://t.co/U8Ey9efX6k
Would you look at that view! #BlueGhost captured its first image on the Moon that embodies everything this bold, unstoppable Firefly team has worked so hard for over the last 3+ years. And we’re just getting started! Find out what's next for #BGM1 https://t.co/oEJhJu7KHx
