@StrengthDebates Lastly, as I said before it needs to be a mixture of all the things mentioned below by everyone. One in isolation is likely insufficient. After heavy load and moving slow you need to be able to move heavish loads fast, light loads fast, jump for height jump with dec GCT in mind.
@StrengthDebates Heavy slow resistance and heavy eccentrics were popular for awhile but recent studies show the co traction type doesn’t necessarily matter as much as the load used. Perform it in a way that is tolerable and doesn’t piss off tendon. But right now load seems to be king

@StrengthDebates It has to be a mixture of exposing structures to everything. As tendons are series elastic component focusing on isometrics only is insufficient. Focusing on moving heavy load slowly is insufficient as well.
@StrengthDebates Lots of talk already here but, scant in the convo is end stage rehab with things like reactive eccentrics, reactive eccentrics to concentric, impulse plyos, and ultimately just sprinting to start training the muscle in the same fashion. Nothing replicates actually sprinting
