@Skentelbery@TheSmokinSmithy@Skenterly @CwallWildlife @sea_loop Wow, I still keep mine, which I found in the delta of the Amazon river in 2011. It looks like yours has traveled a very long way! Keep it, maybe one day she will tell you what she has seen in her travels!
I think it's called Mucuna urens.
@crehage Since you are into walking, if you can read Spanish, "Buscando el Sur" by Román Morales García is outstanding. About his 3-4 year-long in one take walk across South America in the late 1980's.
Also his "Caminos de agua" about 2-3 year-long paddle Argentina to Venezuela in 2000's.
@crehage "Apples are from Kazakhstan" by Christopher Robbins.
Even if you already know the country, in terms of writing quality, this book has the best intro I've ever read. And as a whole the book is also very good.

Lluny de les grans ciutats, l'Altiplà és ric en paisatges sense contaminació lumínica que ofereixen panoràmiques inèdites que ens fan entendre a fascinació andina per la nit.

@NASAWebb The #JWST has a price tag of 10 billion USD. This is about 4 or 5 days worth of US Army budget. We live in a world in which armies are necessary. But this is our choice. One day we could decide to stop being idiots and use these trillions in science and other life improving shit.
The #HubbleDeepField needed over 100 hours of exposure.
This first image of the #JamesWebbSpaceTelescope has been captured in a little over 12 hours of exposure.
The next years are going to be very exciting. #JWST
👀 Sneak a peek at the deepest & sharpest infrared image of the early universe ever taken — all in a day’s work for the Webb telescope. (Literally, capturing it took less than a day!) This is Webb’s first image released as we begin to #UnfoldTheUniverse: https://t.co/tlougFWg8B
