So, here’s the plan: axe the Department of Education. Rip it out at the roots and toss it in the trash, they say. It’s bold. Revolutionary. And by “revolutionary,” I mean pulling the rug out from under every kid whose parents can��t afford private school. You think this is about “freedom”? No, it’s about keeping the poor where they are: in the dirt, staring up at a ladder they’ll never get to climb.

Without the Department of Education, who’s going to pay for the Title I schools? You know, the ones that keep the lights on in neighborhoods where families are choosing between groceries and gas? That money doesn’t fall from the sky. And when it’s gone, those schools won’t just struggle; they’ll sink. No books, no teachers, no hope.

But wait, there’s more! Let’s talk about the kids with disabilities. Remember them? Apparently, they’re collateral damage. That $13 billion IDEA program? That lifeline for special education? Poof, gone. Now what? Parents are left scrambling while states bicker over whether or not to fund wheelchairs and speech therapists. It’s all on you, folks. Good luck.

And what happens when the feds step back? You get patchwork schooling. One state decides to teach algebra, another hands out bibles, and the third figures, why not both? Kids move from one town to another and end up learning that gravity’s a theory in one classroom and a sin in another. Standards go out the window, civil rights protections weaken, and suddenly, it’s 1950 all over again.

For the young dreamers, the kids who want college and ore our future? Forget Pell Grants. Forget affordable tuition. Unless Mom and Dad have cash stashed in the walls, higher education is a pipe dream. And what does that mean for the workforce? A dumber, poorer country, that’s what. You think job creators are going to hire folks who can’t read contracts or fix machines? Get real.

And don’t let them fool you with talk of “school choice.” That’s code for privatization. It’s a way to make sure the rich get shiny charter schools and the poor get what’s left, crumbs. They say it’s about competition, but the only race here is to the bottom. And when the dust settles, it’s the rich sipping lattes while the rest of us try to figure out how to spell “inequality.”

This isn’t about education. It’s about control. About keeping the same people on top and making sure the ladder gets kicked out from underneath everyone else. They say it’s freedom, but it looks a lot more like a prison cell to me.

Trump will begin operations to deport millions of undocumented immigrants when he starts his term, campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt. The goal set by the Trump campaign is to detain and remove 13 to 25 million people, they plan to indefinitely detain them across various camps.

The operation is being called "the largest deportation in history" and it is estimated that it will cost around 88 billion tax dollars to complete. The current US prison population is only 1.8 million. It is estimated that they could remove 1 million people per year. Experts estimate families may be rounded up together, including individuals who are not illegal, including green card holders or citizens born to illegal migrants. Future Trump proposals also include backtracking on green cards that have already been granted and exploring legislation to remove the citizenship of those born to parents not born in the US.

Economist state that the mass deportation plan, if carried out as described by the Trump administration, will worsen the housing crisis and create an economic crisis in the long run.
