Peruvian elections are this week’s event for election nerds like me.
Keiko Fujimori leading by ~600 votes out of 18 million cast is a level of statistical noise you rarely get to watch in real time.
The Information reported that bankers for SpaceX, OpenAI and Anthropic IPO's are proposing staggered lockups instead of 90 or 180-day lockups so sellers don't unload all their shares at once.
Seems like they are already familiar with the crypto concept of FSHing and now they will be getting familiar with the everyday vesting dump.
Most of the productivity gains from the Internet era were eclipsed by creating algorithms to make people addicted to ads, porn and betting. Not saying this will be the same, but for every ying there is a yang or something like that.
I wonder how much of AI productivity gains will be offset by AI productivity losses from low-performers who try to use LLMs as crutches and end up using them on mental autopilot, therefore delivering worse work than if they did not have LLMs available at all.

Do the people claiming SBF would’ve had a strong track record if things hadn’t collapsed factor in the crypto-denominated debts that were dollarized at bankruptcy?
Seems unlikely everyone would be made whole if you took debt prices at current value.
@Tiza4ThePeople Showing literal skin-in-the-game with your counterparties, which establishes trust. It is more advantageous in some lines of business in crypto (eg. you do OTC sales at a large trading firm) vs others (eg. you are a dev for a DeFi protocol), but that is the main advantage I see.
@Tiza4ThePeople USDC/USDT gets a bit more volatile when BTC moves. Mostly does not go below/above the 10bps mark, but it rarely stays around 1bps either (last week was an exception, not the rule).
@Tiza4ThePeople Right... what I meant is that paying 1bps + addtl fees to swap half of your position every time it gets out of range plus the time your position spends outside of your range might drag down those returns to the point it is not worth it to do it.
