@teachwellall Large numbers of children will not remove jumpers or blazers even if you directly instruct them to do it, firmly. They then go home red faced and covered it sweat and lie about it to their parents who consequently post about it online. Trust teachers please.
Put my AirPods in the washing machine other week. Classic idiot Joe mistake. Assumed they would be done. However I just put them in my ears to discover THEY STILL WORK PERFECTLY. Maybe there is a god after all? 🙏😇
Spotify has been trying to force Yves Tumor down my throat for ages. Gave in yesterday. To be fair they’re great and much more eclectic than I expected. https://t.co/tUJNaJ4czh
@sbkaufman It’s our need for belonging and acceptance that has us stuck in this pattern. People also want a neat explanation for their complex feelings. I predict that as the public becomes more tolerant there will be less need for all the tribalism and creative terminology. Onwards!
@TLRailUK I commute home through St Albans towards Bedford/Luton every weekday. No exaggeration I don’t think I have ever experienced a service that isn’t delayed, cancelled, or moved platforms. Who runs this service? Why have they been allowed to be so consistently incompetent?
What is the point of social media if you aren’t empowered to follow who you want to follow and curate your feed? Recommendations can be cool if they are based on your activity but I don’t just want to plug into some sort of average human interest feed.
Just hearing that Kentish Town tube will be shut from late June, FOR A WHOLE YEAR?! .@TfL What on earth are you doing that could possibly take that long? There has got to be an alternative to this!
‘Post-truth politics’ has become viable because ordinary people now use the same tools as politicians. We craft a version of ourselves, tell our own success stories. A certain amount of brazen lying is accepted, even expected. Putin, Trump, Johnson are just opportunists.
