This is a super cool capability of Gemini 4 Argon! Medical education will never be the same. In fact, anyone will be able to learn virtually any medical subject without having to attend medical school. And this extends far beyond medicine to virtually every field of knowledge!
These 3D simulations by AI models will only get better, making learning more immersive, intuitive, and accessible to everyone!

AGI is already achieved recently. What Demis means is really superintelligence (SI), which fits perfectly with his definition of AGI. His earlier predictions a year ago or so were about 5-10 years, then 3-5, now 2-3. I made similar adjustments & my prediction for SI is 1 year now
A new paper cites my N-of-1 as a core feature of next generation longevity science. It explains why my biomarker numbers say less than people think.
I agree.
Aging is a multi-scale physiological process that we can’t actually measure directly. Biomarkers are like the blind men touching the elephant; able to know a piece, but never the whole.
The processes that dictate aging exist at multiple levels of biological complexity. They interact dynamically at different timescales, across different contexts, and along their own trajectories.
Aging manifests differently among people, but in highly nuanced and often invisible ways. The static, cross-sectional measures the field is used to can only get us so far.
N-of-1 initiatives like mine can capture some of this nuance, but ultimately fails at generalizability. The authors also critique N-of-1 as able to show "responsiveness but not durability; optimisation but not causality."
The challenge, so far unmet, is modelling the complexity of aging in such a way that the output is not a forecast of biomarkers, but a simulation of aging system dynamics, i.e. one’s health trajectory into the future.
The most intriguing implication of such a model is an improved ability to predict how our decisions will impact us in the future. A choose your own adventure where we can predict the consequences of both our healthy and unhealthy behaviors.
This is exactly what we are aiming to build. If you're into this as well, hit me up.
officially retiring the crash mattresses
drastically reduced our control parameters and built a much simpler flight controller
much better stability and actual controlled landings with zero broken parts
Your peptides may be coming fentanyl suppliers.
Anhui Renchen Technology was indicted in 2023 for supplying the Sinaloa Cartel with fentanyl precursors.
Their website currently sells semaglutide and melanotan II.
Of roughly 200 Chinese firms TRM Labs tracked selling fentanyl precursors, at least 50 now sell peptides.
The shipments enter the US in “master cartons” mislabelled as snack food, broken up by a domestic handler and mailed on. CBP has intercepted around 400 of those operations and seized over 130,000 vials in the past year.
FDA records surfaced showing two deaths, one in July and one in September, reported after people injected untested black market retatrutide.
I didn’t say that
What I said: first time in 2,000 years, we're having a fresh conversation about life & death.
Not abstract debate, but practical things bc radical life extension is at the doorstep.
That means meaning, purpose, spirituality and culture are up for grabs.
Palmer Luckey warns America’s greatest threat isn’t China today… it’s what China could become if it overcomes its economic problems and keeps raising productivity: “How do you beat a country that’s bigger than you, where everyone produces as much economic value?” 🇺🇸🇨🇳
“The very big picture here is that China has an enormous number of people. If somehow they can manage their demographic problems, their debt problems, their hollow GDP problems, and their real estate problems—there are a lot of problems they’ve got to juggle.
But if they can continue transforming their country from a rural, agrarian society into a manufacturing powerhouse, and keep raising the average earning potential and education level of everyone in China, that’s actually where we get screwed in the end.
How do you beat a country that’s bigger than you, where everyone makes as much or more economic value than you? They’re doing better than us in math education, science education, and the things that are hard facts.
They don’t value things like free speech. They’re very collectivist, which I think puts a ceiling on certain types of individual accomplishment.
I think America is great. But I don’t think we’re so great that we can beat a country with a vastly larger population if they manage to reach even a fraction of our productivity and creativity.”
China itself has become an economic giant. How they’ve gotten there is up for discussion, subsidies, labor, exploitation IP patent infringement. But if they continue to invest in productivity, with their population numbers, it’s only a matter of time before they match the United States. In saying that, they face a lot of economic challenges. The United States must onshore manufacturing and become a dominant exporter again.
Palmer Luckey warns America cannot compete with China’s population advantage forever through innovation alone: “We need 1 BILLION Americans minimum. Probably more like 2 or 3 billion.” 🇺🇸🇨🇳
“Yes, we need to get our act together. We need to do better at manufacturing, at defense, all these things. But everything is just biting around the margins if we’re 350 million people and they’re 2 billion people who are roughly the same.
How exceptional do we have to be to achieve a 10-to-1 ratio forever, in perpetuity? It’s not practical. It’s not logical.
I would say it’s even possibly a racist thing to believe that we can be so much better than China and the Chinese people that we’ll just beat them with a tiny fraction of the population.
We need to do better with what we’ve got. But we also just need a lot more people. We need 1 billion Americans minimum, probably more like 2 or 3 billion, with better demographics and better natural resources.
The Dutch once had the most powerful navy in the world. They didn’t lose that position because they fell behind on factories or shipbuilding. They became economically irrelevant.”
Both countries are competing with respect to declining birth rates. Both nations must be more willing to have children and expand the population growth exponentially over the next decade. The current economic path is unsustainable if our labor force begins to shrink even with artificial intelligence on the rise.
