@Guadango
The only way for the shitty novice athlete to get better is to practice the sport a bunch.
The only way for the elite athlete to continue to get better is to practice the sport a bunch.
It's in the middle that developing the underlying outputs is most important
S&C coaches:
Training complete beginners? Get out of their way and let them practice a bunch.
Training elites? Get out of their way and let them practice a bunch.
In the middle of their career you can have your lb of flesh and add HP to the underlying skills.
Firefighter Joe Warwick from #Woodford White Watch ran everyday in January to raise money for @GOSHCharity after they helped care for family & a friend close to him. He clocked up 301 miles & has £2K+ in donations so far. Donate here: https://t.co/uJRyonwfDV Great job Joe! 👏🏻 🏃🏻

Social media can become very overwhelming very quickly. This is especially the case for S&C coaches wanting to make a name for themselves. I personally have become disillusioned by it many times for many different reasons.
However, there's hope. Social media coach realities 👇🏽
Heavy conversation on most recent episode of @StrengthCoachN1 podcast:
Former white supremacist skinhead describes how his random conversation with a black guy in a bar convinced him he was on the wrong path...
This one got me emotional.
@strengthofsci My personal belief is that I need to spend as much time with the staff I work with as possible. It’s all good me getting a coaching badge but that may obscure my opinion on their system. I want to maximise my input into their system not try to put my own spin on it.
@bancroftrfc Girls only session: Sunday's 12 noon. Game style sessions, developed around a range of non contact games, rugby netball, Ready4Rugby, focussed on fun and fitness. We pride ourselves on being a family and community orientated club, we would love to see you there.
If you don't differentiate between a personal (home) philosophy and a professional philosophy (job specific), I think you could be missing a level of detail and focus you could benefit from. There are sides of my professional philosophy I don't take home, and vice versa.
Amazing day today with @W_Abrahams @DeborahF91@Philip__Burgess and @willedwards coaching our youth players. A once in a lifetime chance to learn from some of the best 7s players in the world!
