I keep posting this when people ask about self taught dev routes. Here's mine: Animation degree -> customer serivce/tech support for phone company -> auto/injury insurance claims adjuster -> self taught software engineer in my second role in tech doing something I love.

Tailwindcss is definitely one of my favorite tools and let me explain why:
1. Coding the CSS portion is very fast
2. The entire team uses the exact same classes/library so the readability of the code is much higher
3. Responsiveness is awesome! No need for media queries.
Being self-taught is not easy. Just knowing what to learn and planning a curriculum is difficult. It takes a TON of discipline, time and hard work.
If you can't motivate yourself, then maybe formal education is the way to go. Which is fine. Some people just need more structure.
To build SaaS you must be SAVAGE tech founder:
- Build to get results
- Perfect code is lame
- Functioning UI is enough
- Sell features like a drug dealer
- Cold DM like you have the cure for cancer
Get your goals not matter what.
Best thing to do as a junior software developer? Work on an active open source projects with others. Working on your own stuff and working on a team with others is a million times difference and will sky rocket your growth and job opportunities. #100DaysOfCode#CodeNewbie
Many say that you NEED a mentor in order to learn to code and get a job in tech.
I still have never had a dedicated mentor. I've had A COMMUNITY. It takes a special person to want to make that commitment.
Mentors are awesome but if you don't have one, it isn't a deal breaker.
