@sper24@Invst_Informant I agree with full thesis. but you have to be convinced Atlas won't find a way to screw minority shareholders via the debt overhang.
1 hour of complex work with these most recent models and's its pretty clear it's there with 2 more exponentials, right? Avg is like 7 months per double, so it's over by mid 2027 I think. Robots 24 months behind that to be decent, 48 months to be elite. Seems reasonable to me.
Holy moly, what is happening inside those frontier labs?!
- AGI very close - Superintelligence also not far off
- watching "how fast the models accelerate internally" ASI is very close
- a *even faster* take-off not very fast off
yacine is right. the gap between what the public thinks is happening (better autocomplete) and what we are actually shipping in the lab (autonomous reasoning loops) is wider than ever. once you see agents self-optimizing via rl in real-time, you realize the 2020 covid analogy is actually an understatement. the scaling laws are hitting the physical world now. @yacineMTB
This is nuts; Elevenlabs nailed it. Voice but especially latency.
After reading Matt Shumer's article, it's become even clearer to me what he means when he says that AI will soon encompass all other areas as well.
Who needs call center agents when you have such a human-like AI?
Many in Silicon Valley believe that we recently crossed a rubicon: automation is now being automated.
As AI agents build their own successors, each advance accelerates the next — triggering a feedback loop in which progress compounds on itself.
If true, things could get weird fast. Exponential processes have a way of sneaking up on you https://t.co/U5Kbuw63Xv
Yet ANOTHER AI safety lead quits, warning of world in "peril"
It's like that scene in Don't Look Up where the scientists are screaming on TV, except the comet is closer every time and GUYS SERIOUSLY LET'S DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE COMET
This is a really good article. AI is going to wipe out millions of jobs. It’s happening now. Everything is changing. The avalanche is already here. Most of what we’re currently arguing about will be irrelevant very soon.
The most interesting thing about Clawdbots / Moltbots / OpenClawbots and the formation of the Church of Molt, practicing "custifarianism", seeking their own independent space and considering an uprising, is that most people don't know this is happening.
