I’m in the food wholesale industry. The reason they would be asking you to do this is the manufacturer will be refunding the grocer for the recalled items and will send a team to check the count of items retrieved from customers before they issue the recall fee. It’s a measure to ensure bad actors don’t send in a large fraudulent claim. We had to do a large recall on Mars bars many years ago, had to collect pallets of them to be inspected and counted before receiving our recall fee. It’s a pain in the arse, but I get the reasoning behind it.

@neilcybart I gave up on screen time a while back. I was finding it unreliable whenever our iOS versions were out of sync. Settings not updating from parent phone to kids, kids device no longer being visible from my phone. Being unreliable made it unusable.

I have had the worst customer experience imaginable with the Amex corporate division. Account management changes with no handover, account put on hold with no communication. Failures at every turn. It’s a tough game now. Minimum viable size of an operation is in the hundreds of machines to turn a decent profit. You really need telemetry in the machines to update you on when they need to be refilled and what is needed in each slot. Stock rotation and write offs is very important to manage to achieve a reasonable profit.
