They lie, let their audience read it and believe it, then issue a half-hearted hidden correction at the end of the story hours (or even days) later.
This is exactly how people like Charlie Kirk end up murdered.
Disrespectfully, screw you @nytimes.
There’s a new political divide forming:
If you celebrate when an innocent person whose political views differ from you is assassinated you’re gone.
Don’t care what that person’s political persuasion is or how strongly you disagree with them.
Cant think of one counterexample.
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
This is such a good point. If you actually watch Charlie’s events—as opposed to the fake summaries—they are one of the few places with open and honest dialogue between left and right. He would answer any question and talk to everyone.
Every American should be absolutely furious right now.
Charlie Kirk has never once encouraged violence against any political group, and he was just shot at an event in Utah.
Never advocated for anything except peace.
An absolute outrage. There are no words. Pray for Charlie.
Hey Brian Albert and the rest of the Anti’s. It doesn’t take 50 people for a conspiracy. It takes a family and a 30 year cop to tell other cops what happened and those other cops to take their word and only focus on one person. Then make the evidence fit! Not that hard 🤷🏻♀️
@queen__valerie_ It literally only takes the people sitting here, Higgins, and Proctor. Everyone else just believed them or feared them and followed suit…not that hard to believe in my opinion 🤷🏻♀️
@KristinaRex They love to blame a “crazy conspiracy” when all it takes is a handful of people at the house that night being believed wholeheartedly by those investigating the crime. They knew they would be trusted (or feared…👀CA). that’s all it took. Jen set the story—no one questioned it.
