When I began investing in the Nigerian stock market, my goal was simple, build a portfolio that rewards patience, consistency, and discipline.
My investment journey so far:
UBA โ 12,000 units
GTCO โ 10,000 units
Zenith Bank โ 10,000 units
Access Holdings โ 10,000 units
Zenith Bank Board of Directors proposed an interim dividend of N1.50 per share (up from N1.25 per share in H1 2025).
EPS: N10.48
Qualification Date: October 23, 2026
Closure of Register: October 26, 2026
@TomolaGroup He will always have a seat on the board as long as he remains one of the largest shareholders. He is simply no longer the chairman of the board; he is now just a board member.
Added to the portfolio today:
MTN ๐โจHBM NG ๐โจAccess ๐โจNASCON ๐โจDangote Cement ๐
The first four are top-ups.
Dangote Cement is the new addition.
My GTCO & Zenith will feel cheated.
Building the portfolio, one position at a time.
If I had to build a long-term NGX portfolio around strong businesses I believe can compound through Nigeriaโs cycles, these would be the core holdings:
GTCOโจZenithโจHBM NGโจDangote CementโจMTN NigeriaโจNASCONโจNGXGROUP
