@matt_barrie Yes and the potential value of these companies is very overblown particularly OpenAI - the space is moving too rapidly to assume these current foundational model companies will win
@RansleyEllen Absolute disgrace for the Press Club. If they can’t manage to provide a profession and neutral platform for political leaders to speak to the media at… what else is it that they do?
@matt_barrie For the top tier models like for the top tier models like Fable, I think they will push everyone to raw API usage and charges and limit these $200 plans
“Last week I dropped MatchPool — the FREE World Cup 2026 predictor.

Australia holds 30% of the world's uranium reserves. It is the Saudi Arabia of the Southern Hemisphere, yet it refuses to lift mining prohibitions in key regions, refuses to recognise U as a critical mineral, and refuses to lift the ban on nuclear energy.
Mind-blowing stupidity
I think they have genuinely hit DC compute limits. Their level of customer and revenue growth is like nothing we’ve seen. Couple that with hungrier models that all of that growing customer base wants to use - I don’t think Anthropic expected this level of growth and scale and they have hit hard compute limits.
I built a free prediction competition where you can prove you know more about football than your mates.
Predict every match. Climb the leaderboard. Earn badges.
100% free. Have fun.

@matt_barrie In the age of AI, energy=intelligence; we will be heavily dependent on other nations unless we change course. Our current policies will turn our once great nation into a diminishing minnow on the global stage
@3AW693 This is such an obvious path to victory and I bet they won’t get it done. The result will be a split conservative vote and Labour will stay in power & God help Victoria.
