Noah(16 yrs old) is teaching the Missions class for VBS this week. He’ll share how he went door to door to invite the neighborhood to church through door hangers when he was 3 years old.
People tell me that my youngest will be a leader one day. I saw a glimpse of how God is doing that work.
He was wrestling with his feelings and said,“I had to make the right choice but it’s not what I wanted.”
Buddy, most people choose what they want over what is right.

Lord, search me.
Lord, show me.
Lord, lead me.
I will follow.
Thank you @iamJadaEdwards for the challenge to ask the Lord to search me.

4-generation fade:
1)parents don’t make church a priority for their kids
2)those kids grow up & make it an even less of a priority for their kids
3)those kids grow up & make it no priority for their kids
4)those kids grow up w/ no concept of God
priorities impacts generations!
Before grandma passed she wrote a note that was to be read after she died. She knew that we would all be very sad. I remember her first words, “Do not be sad, I am with my Maker.” She ended it saying, “Pray without ceasing, Serve the Lord faithfully, Trust and Obey.”

If you don’t know what’s going on in someone’s life it’s probably because you haven’t taken the time and asked.
Not always, but most of the time.
Asking in passing doesn’t equal taking the time to ask.
Do you even know the people you lead?
